Whenever he uses it to browse for a long period of time, d back of d ophone gets hot to d extext that he has once put it inside freezer for few minutes to cool d temperature down. Someone later told me that phones with 2G RAM do like that. Please, is it true? Is it applicable to Phantom Z? Thanks.
This is not peculiar to a particular brand as almost all phones get hot under heavy usage.
BTW, putting your phone in a fridge can damage it! Will advise u remove the battery to cool it instead

@chaz Numie, when ur phantom Z is stolen provided there are anti-theft codes to either erase the data of the stolen phone, or you lock it. To get this codes you will go to seetings on the phone and click on security, scroll down and click on anti-theft. There u will follow instructions to it.

Sorry about your phone, based on my experience with a similar gadget, I think your device battery went below the normal threshold, that’s y its not charging or coming up. To rectify this, you will have to take it to a reputable engineer who will open your device and bypass the charging port to charge your battery directly (in lay man’s term they call it boosting the battery).
But on the other hand, if u bought your device new and it hasn’t been opened before, I’l advise you take it to Tecno care store, they will fix it for u @ no cost. You should let me know if u need their contact.

Yes, indeed Ola has answered me, but there’s still one issue that has not been ironed out. This is about what we have been reading over the Internet that phones of non-removable batteries can be opened once the battery dies and then the old battery is replaced with a new one. Kindly confirm whether this is so. This is because one wonders whether the phone has to be thrown away when the battery dies !

When the battery is bad, the manufacturer expects you to goto their customer care unit and get a battery replacement. I did this for one of my devices not long ago.

@battery replaceable? Yes! The battery is so replaceable. All u need do is get a similar battery or one even higher, open the phone, unscrew the battery panel, disconnect the battery and connect the new one.

perform a hard reset on your device
Follow this procedure
Switch off the phone first.
Press and hold the Power key and the Volume Up key until you see a Menu show up on the screen.
On the Menu, you will see a choice that shows DATA Wipe/factory RESET Use the volume keys to scroll down and up,
select the DATA Wipe/factory RESET with the Power key
Reboot your phone afterwards. Everything should be fine
