The Galaxy S5 has IP67 waterproofing which prevents water or dust from getting inside similar to Sony’s Xperia Phones, with this you can place the handset into water for almost 30 mins and it wont feel it a bit. It comes with Android 4.4 KitKat and a brand new edition of Samsung Touch Wiz interface powered by a 2800mAh battery which should provide the Galaxy S5 enough juice to last a whole day. The S5 is also equipped with a fingerprint scanner, which serves basically 3 purposes, First to unlock your S5 similar to what we have seen in Apple’s iPhone 5s. Secondly, it function as instant online mobile payment solution via Paypal integration, which means with a swipe on the scanner you can make payments online. And the last is to protect your important documents by enabling a private mode that can only be unlocked by your fingerprint. Samsung also considered fitness introducing a brand new version of S Health app that allows you to monitor your diet and workouts, the Galaxy S5 has a built-in heart rate monitor which also aid the S Health app and is designed to fully integrate with Samsung’s new wearable tech, the Galaxy Gear 2, Galaxy Gear 2 Neo and Galaxy Gear Fit. Samsung Galaxy S5 Price
The Galaxy S5 finally has a price and it is below what a lot of people anticipated, The Galaxy S5 16GB model is now available for pre-order at various online stores including MobiCity and HandTec priced from £540. It is not only well below the guessed price of £600 but considerably cheaper than the Galaxy S4 which cost £630 when it arrived.
